OK well I am going to start a new journal of my messor barbarus colony there is 1 worker and a queen.

day1-I have rapped the test tube in foil and left them in a small forging area. I have placed some seed in there. But already the small worker is taking sand in the tube. I will update you tomorrow.

its not looking good her last worker is missing

I doubt she wil survive now

she will be ok I have put her in a testube with 3 baby crickets and some seeds I am going to leave her.

are you keeping them warm coz they live in south of frances and its hot down there

Three baby crickest are a bit to many and she probably won't eat the seeds...

Day4-
So today there is some bad news and some good news. So the bad news is that there is no eggs yet. The good news is that she is eating a baby cricket head at the moment.

29/01/10-Ok so I have left my queen under my mums bed with a cricket she started to eat it like mad. I will update soon

31/01/10-OK so I only fed my queen a 4mm cricket 2 days ago But I Put another cricket in her test tube and she is eating it. Hopefully she will lay eggs soon.

2/01/09- So yesterday I made a small y-tong nest for my messor queen she ran into it strtght away. She started cleaning her self and she has settele down in a chamber now she is in my cuboard on a heat mat. Hopefuly now she will lay eggs

abz my messor layed eggs today! I just had to check her today and I did and there I saw her with around 7 or 8 eggs!!!!!!

3/02/10-I have now promiced my self not to look at my queen intil saterday when she is ready for her nest feed

7/02/10- My queen has now in a small y-tong nest she layed aegg before but i seems to be missing.
I think she ate it
